Palinsesto is an architecture studio led by Simonpietro Salini and Federico Lippi.
The name holds a double meaning: on one hand, it refers to the concept of the palimpsest in architecture, describing a space in constant transformation, where past and present layers coexist, generating a depth in meaning. On the other, the word “palinsesto” in italian refers to an organisational structure for programmes intended for an external audience. From this dual sense, the studio develops architecture and exhibition design projects which engage with the layered conditions of the built and lived environment.
The practice to date has completed four exhibition projects in prestigious venues across Venice and Rome. The upcoming one, presenting artworks by Mouna Rebeiz, will be open to the public from the 16th of September until the 30th of November at the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia in Rome.
